Production Operative

Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our client, for a reliable and motivated Samples Operative to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has good attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a busy warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.

The Role

As a Samples Operative, you will be responsible for preparing, handling, and organising product samples to support the wider business. You will play an important role in ensuring samples are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently.

Shift salary:

• *FLEXBILITY REQUIRED*
• Monday & Tuesday busier days potentially longer hours
• Core hours Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00
• Weekly pay
• Temporary ongoing role with potential for a permanent contract after 12 weeks
• Immediate start available

The role:

• Preparing and packing product samples ready for dispatch or internal use
• Labelling samples accurately
• Picking materials/products as required
• Checking samples for quality, accuracy, and presentation
• Keeping the samples area clean, tidy, and organised
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Updating basic paperwork or records where required
• Supporting the wider warehouse/production team when needed

The candidate:

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Able to follow instructions carefully
• Has strong attention to detail
• Comfortable with manual handling and standing for periods of time
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous warehouse, production, packing, or samples experience would be beneficial, but not essential
