Are you looking for a flexible education role in Plymouth? Randstad is recruiting a proactive and adaptable Primary Supply Teaching Assistant to support local schools across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support: Assist class teachers with resource preparation and setting up learning environments.

• Targeted Interventions: Deliver 1:1 and small group support focusing on core literacy and numeracy skills.

• SEN Support: Provide tailored assistance to pupils with diverse learning needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN).

• Behaviour Management: Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere by implementing school behaviour policies.

• Pupil Welfare: Supervise children during break and lunchtimes, ensuring a safe environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working within a UK primary school or childcare setting.

• Strong communication skills and a reliable, adaptable work ethic.

• Knowledge of the primary national curriculum (KS1/KS2).

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one).

• Right to work in the UK.
