Job Requirements
The Governors of St William of York Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, energetic and caring Teaching Assistant to work in our Nursery with our 2 and 3 year olds, and contribute to our successful and hardworking team. The post is 32.5 hours per week 8.30am to 3.30pm with half an hour lunch break. Monday to Friday, Term Time only (44 weeks).

The successful candidate will have:
• A relevant qualification and experience suitable for working with children of pre-school age.
• An ability to work as part of a close and friendly team of Class Teachers and other Teaching Assistants.
• A high level of patience and understanding.
• Enthusiasm and passion about working with children to support their needs and help them reach their potential.
• Excellent basic skills in literacy, numeracy and good spoken English.
