Vacancy for a Income Co-ordinator Remuneration, part ime (temp to perm contract) £32,620.00 plus benefits

Who we are looking for

Waltham Forest Housing Association is looking for a proactive and tenant-focused Income Co-ordinator to support effective rent collection, arrears recovery and tenancy sustainment.

You will monitor rent and service charge accounts, work with tenants at an early stage to prevent arrears escalating, agree affordable repayment plans and signpost tenants to welfare benefit, debt advice and financial support where needed. You will also prepare arrears correspondence, maintain accurate records and support legal action and attend court to represent the association.

We are looking for someone with proven experience of income recovery, rent arrears management up to court action. You will have strong communication and negotiation skills, good numeracy, confidence using Microsoft Office 365 applications (including Word, Excel,  and Teams) which is essential and a firm but fair approach when working with tenants

This is a great opportunity to make a positive difference in our community based housing association, helping tenants sustain their homes while supporting WFHA to maintain strong income performance.

The role also includes taking part in the associations out of hours on call rota.
