Resource base teacher

Desian Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Warrington that is seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Resource Base Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support pupils with additional needs within a specialist resource base setting, helping children to develop academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing environment.

The Role

As the KS1 Resource Base Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated learning opportunities tailored to individual pupil needs.
• Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO, and external professionals to provide outstanding support.
• Develop and implement personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.
• Monitor pupil progress and celebrate achievements.
• Foster independence, confidence, and positive behaviour amongst pupils.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within KS1.
• Knowledge of SEND and strategies to support children with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A patient, flexible, and compassionate approach.
• A commitment to inclusive education and improving outcomes for all learners.
