VP, Travel Insurance Counsel
Our client, a leading global P&C insurance carrier, is seeking an experienced attorney to support its Travel Insurance & Accident/Health business. This is a highly business-facing role partnering with underwriting, product, compliance, operations, and executive leadership to provide practical legal and regulatory advice across a specialized insurance portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with the business and serving as the primary legal advisor for a niche line of insurance.

Role & Responsibilities

Serve as the lead legal advisor to the Travel Insurance business.
Advise on insurance regulatory, compliance, and Department of Insurance matters.
Partner with underwriting, product, operations, and business leadership.
Review and support travel insurance products throughout their lifecycle.
Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance on strategic initiatives.


Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in good standing.
Travel Insurance exposure through Legal, Claims, Regulatory, or Risk within the P&C insurance space.


Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: Up to $260-270k
Bonus: 20% Target
