The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant As a Psychology Graduate / SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils both in and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities may include: * Providing 1:1 and small-group support * Supporting pupils with SEND, ASD, SEMH and PMLD * Helping students engage with classroom learning * Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour * Delivering or supporting targeted interventions * Encouraging communication, confidence and independence * Helping create a calm, safe and positive learning environment * Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils * Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff * Supporting individual learning and behaviour plans About You We're looking for Psychology graduates who are: * Patient, calm and empathetic * Resilient and adaptable * Confident communicating with children and young people * Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs * Interested in developing a career in psychology, education, therapy or SEND * Reliable and professional A Psychology degree or relevant degree is required. Previous experience working with children or adults with SEND, autism, mental health needs, learning difficulties or challenging behaviour is beneficial but not essential.
