About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join our team in a central London hospital environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading facilities management company providing essential services in critical healthcare settings. The role involves supporting the smooth operation of electrical systems across the hospital, including planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot hospital electrical plant and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including Health & Safety requirements.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, minimizing disruption to hospital operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other engineers and FM teams to ensure continuity of service.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in healthcare or critical environments.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Ability to produce certificates and qualifications at interview stage.
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work a continental shift pattern.

Desirable:
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of statutory testing, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and inspection/testing procedures.
