Quality Inspector

SR1, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear Vectis Recruitment A global manufacturing group supplying complex piping to the Marine and Energy sectors is opening a new site and has a new vacancy for a Quality Inspector to join the rapidly growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring products comply with customer & industry requirements and applicants are sought with a proven track record of inspection and quality control gained in a highly regulated industry. The Role Inspect and verify incoming materials, work-in-progress and finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards. Carry out quality checks and measurements in line with company procedures. Identify defects, non-conformances and quality issues. Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation. Work closely with production and other departments to resolve quality issues. Support continuous improvement and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained. Ensure all inspections comply with company policies and relevant industry requirements. The Role Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach. Inspection qualification (CSWIP, PCN) The ability to read and understand technical drawings/specifications. Good communication and problem-solving skills. The confidence to identify and report quality issues
