About the role
Our Vacancy
Our successful candidate will be someone that will contribute to Town & Country Housing’s support strategy by providing a comprehensive range of information, guidance, and any onward referral to help people manage their money and prepare for changes in welfare benefit.
What you'll do
Supporting residents to maximise their income and financial wellbeing through advice, guidance, and casework management. Assist with welfare benefit claims, grants, and financial support applications, including appeals and challenges to benefit decisions. Provide budgeting and money management support, maintain accurate case records and performance data, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure residents access the specialist support they need. Develop strong partnerships and referral networks to deliver effective, customer-focused financial inclusion services.
What you'll need
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office systems
- A passion for providing excellent Customer Service
- Confidence to handle challenging situations with resilience and professionalism
