About the role
Network Co-ordinator
37 hours per week
Salary £31,537.00 – £34,434.00
We are looking for an experienced Network Co-ordinator to join our Network Management Team.
As a Network Co-ordinator you will carry out the co-ordination and network management duty on the Borough Council’s highway by assessing and processing permits and traffic management applications set out under regulations and conditions from the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and enforced through the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council Permit Scheme. Additionally you will be required to assess applications for licences issued under the Highways Act 1980 including skips, scaffolds hoardings etc. occupying the highway. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake borough wide site inspections in relation to monitoring occupancy of work on the network.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a working knowledge of highway maintenance legislation, techniques and procedures
- Possess or be willing to obtain NRSWA Supervisors Accreditation
- Have experience of working with customers, clients and partners
- Hold a full driving licence.
