• Position: Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant

• Salary: £93 – £110 per day

The Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant in Wolverhampton, you will work closely with a pupil on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support throughout the school day. You will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure the student receives the guidance they need to thrive both academically and socially.

This position would suit a patient, nurturing, and proactive individual who is passionate about making a positive difference in education.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective 1:1 support to a pupil throughout the school day.
• Assist with the delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Support the pupil’s academic, emotional, and social development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback when required.
• Encourage independence and confidence within the classroom environment.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement with learning.

Requirements

To be considered for this Level 2 Teaching Assistant job in Wolverhampton, applicants should have:

• A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a school setting.
• Experience providing 1:1 support to children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
