We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide dedicated one-to-one support for a wheelchair bound learner with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The successful candidate will deliver support, working closely with teaching staff, the Strategic SEND Lead and Level 3 TA to ensure the learner has full access to learning, effective communication, and the opportunity to fully participate in the wider school environment.

They will hold, as a minimum, Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, preferably a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and be able to demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills, alongside a willingness to further develop through ongoing training. If the learner is absent then the post holder will be assisting and supporting teaching, learning and assessment across the curriculum as directed by the Strategic SEND Lead.
