Assembly Operator

Our client based in Skipton near the town center are looking to recruit Assembly Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis to start asap. The main purpose of the role will be to join their existing team in the assembly procedure of their product.

THE ROLE:

• Using hand and power tools
• Working to instruction and drawings/client spec
• Ensuring assembly is completed to a high standard in timely manner
• Reporting to the production manager
• Adhering to start times, finish times and break times

THE CANDIDATE:

• MUST have some kind of production/industrial background
• Must be good with hand tools and have a fast paced, efficient work ethic
• Must be able to work as part of a small (likeable) team
• Previous assembly or upholstery experience would be highly advantageous but NOT essential.

THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• £12.71 per hour
• Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 17:00
• Friday 8:00 – 15:45
• Temporary to permanent
• Free cark parking
