Lift Service & Breakdown Engineer

Location Field based, covering:

• Kent
• South East London
• Essex
• Surrey

The Role Join a friendly, family-run lift engineering business experiencing continued growth across the South East. We are looking for an experienced Lift Service & Breakdown Engineer to carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and breakdown attendance across a varied portfolio of lift equipment throughout Kent, London, Essex, and Surrey. Duties & Responsibilities

• Routine lift servicing and preventative maintenance
• Attending lift breakdowns and emergency call-outs
• Fault finding and diagnosis of lift issues
• Carrying out minor repairs and adjustments
• Completing service documentation and reports accurately
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety regulations and company procedures
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and end users

Requirements Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering
• Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Previous experience servicing and repairing lifts
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable:

• Experience across a range of lift manufacturers and equipment types
• Good customer-facing communication skills
