Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a KS2 classroom? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lozells, Birmingham is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team and support children’s learning, confidence, and progress.
Role Overview
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across the Key Stage 2 phase. You’ll work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing classroom support across KS2 lessons
- Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions when needed
- Assisting with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom organisation
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a nurturing learning atmosphere
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
- Experience working in KS2 or with primary-aged children
- Strong communication skills and a patient, adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
