Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join an established vehicle repair and maintenance business based in Kirkcaldy on a full-time permanent basis, paying £40,000+ per annum.

Our client operates a busy workshop maintaining a modern fleet of vehicles, offering consistent Monday to Friday hours with overtime available.

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm – this may vary depending on business requirements
• £40,000+ per annum – dependent on experience
• Overtime available

As an HGV Mechanic, your duties will include:

• Carrying out maintenance and repair work across a modern fleet of vehicles
• Completing inspections, identifying faults and raising them with the Workshop Manager
• Completing all relevant paperwork and maintaining accurate records of work carried out
• Following company policies and procedures, particularly around health and safety
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop environment

To be considered as an HGV Mechanic, you will need:

• Proven experience in a mechanic or vehicle technician role
• Good attention to detail with basic computer skills
• A punctual, reliable and flexible approach to work
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
