The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Specialist Registrar (SpR) in Cardiology (Arrhythmia) to support in London within the Integrated Adult Care service.

This long-term locum opportunity offers a structured Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 working pattern from 14 September 2026 to 18 December 2026. The role is ideal for an experienced Cardiology SpR with Arrhythmia subspecialty experience looking for a consistent placement within a supportive NHS environment.

You will work alongside established clinical teams, delivering specialist cardiology services through outpatient clinics and participating in the department's on-call rota while contributing to high-quality patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver specialist Cardiology care with a focus on Arrhythmia services.
• Attend and manage 3 to 5 outpatient clinics per week.
• Participate in a 1 in 5 on-call rota as part of the cardiology team.
• Assess, investigate, and manage patients in line with Trust guidelines and best practice.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing staff, allied health professionals, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
• Contribute to safe, effective, and efficient service delivery.
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately and support high standards of patient care.

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration.
• Experience working at Specialist Registrar (SpR) level in Cardiology.
• Arrhythmia subspecialty experience is highly desirable.
• Relevant recent NHS experience within the UK.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
