Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

• Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, Occupational Therapist OR Social Worker with the relevant professional registration
• Ongoing professional development working towards degree level ( if professional registration is following a diploma level course)

Desirable criteria

• Recognised Leadership/Management training

Experience

Essential criteria

• Demonstrate effective risk assessment and risk management experience
• Experience in the delivery of clinical interventions

Desirable criteria

• Experience of interagency working

Knowledge

Essential criteria

• An understanding of the policies and guidelines both local and national e.g. National Institute for Clinical Excellence guidelines (Government initiative)
• Up to date knowledge of legal and ethical frameworks including Mental Health Act.

Desirable criteria

• Knowledge of medication and the monitoring of its effects

The only city in Norfolk is Norwich, a medieval city with great music, arts and culture scenes as well as being a popular spot for shopping. Charming coastal and market towns and villages spot the landscape, including Sandringham - the country retreat of Her Majesty the Queen!

DBS

NHS Service

Should you be appointed to the post we will need to establish any previous NHS service via the ESR IAT and we will accept the submission of your application as your agreement to this.

UK Registration

You will need to have current UK professional registration where this is a requirement of the role.
