Assembly Operative

We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing client based in Leicestershire.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assemble a variety of products to the required specifications.
• Work with a range of materials, including aluminium, acrylic, vinyl and steel.
• Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Read and work from technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Inspect completed products to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation.
• Follow all company health and safety and quality procedures.
• Work efficiently to meet production requirements and deadlines.

Requirements :

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or fabrication is preferred.
• Good practical skills with a strong standard of workmanship.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.

Rate of Pay

£13.00 per hour
