Veterinary Care Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join us at Charlton Vets for Pets on a full-time basis! Our practice is designed to the highest industry standards, featuring state-of-the-art equipment such as digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized clinic, feeding and monitoring in-patients, conducting clinical tests, managing stock, and assisting in surgical preparations. Your role will also involve engaging with clients both over the phone and in person, providing them with the support and guidance they need.

We are looking for a team player who is eager to learn and contribute positively to our practice's welcoming atmosphere. Key attributes include excellent verbal communication skills and basic computer literacy. You should be calm, attentive, and focused on the needs of both clients and their pets. Previous experience in a veterinary setting would be advantageous, but a genuine passion for animal care and a drive to make a difference is essential.
