Veterinary Care Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Rhyl Vets for Pets practice. In this rewarding role, you will support our veterinary surgeons and nursing team with the day-to-day care of our patients while ensuring the smooth running of the practice. Your duties will include caring for hospitalized patients, assisting the nursing team, cleaning and preparing clinical areas, and providing practical support to the wider practice team. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in client interactions by welcoming clients and their pets, answering telephone inquiries, booking appointments, and ensuring an efficient service throughout.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to connect with clients and provide them with the guidance they need. You should be compassionate, dependable, and able to remain calm and organized in a busy environment. Previous experience in a veterinary practice or animal care setting is desirable, but a genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing excellent care are essential.
