Learning Support Assistant

A supportive SEND school in Nuneaton seeks a dedicated Learning Support Assistant for a full‑time role. You provide calm, structured support that helps pupils feel settled, focused and ready to learn. Moreover, you deliver some 1:1 support for pupils who need additional guidance. In addition, you work closely with teachers and the SEN team to maintain consistent provision across the school day. Additionally, you will be offered continued support in your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SEND classroom support for pupils with varied needs
• Deliver small‑group activities that reinforce key skills
• Offer 1:1 support for pupils needing extra help
• Use clear routines to support regulation and independence
• Prepare adapted learning tasks for pupils who need additional guidance
• Support positive behaviour approaches through calm communication
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to maintain consistent provision

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced Learning Support Assistant with strong SEND knowledge
• Confidence supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD or communication needs
• Clear communication and a patient, nurturing approach
• Ability to follow structured routines and maintain consistency
• Full‑time availability
• Interest in Nuneaton‑based SEND roles
