Learning Support Assistant

PK Education are looking for an experienced and resilient 1:1 Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support a learners with ASD and SEMH needs.

This role will initially focus on building trust, developing a positive relationship and helping the learners feel safe and comfortable within an educational environment. The successful candidate will understand that relationship-building and emotional regulation are key.

The potential opportunities are based in Milton Keynes, working with KS4, KS5 & post 16 students & ideally due to commence from September.

The ideal candidate:

– Experience supporting children or young people with ASD and/or SEMH needs.
– Confident managing challenging behaviour and situations.
– Skilled in de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies.
– Calm, patient, consistent and resilient.
– Able to build strong relationships and establish trust.
