Senior Recruitment Consultant – White-Collar Construction

An established independent recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a genuinely hot permanent white-collar construction desk.

You will inherit established client relationships, live vacancies and access to more than 1,000 client accounts, including Tier 1 residential developers and PLC main contractors. This provides an excellent platform from which to generate billings and develop the desk further.

The desk has a strong presence across London and the Home Counties, with the scope to recruit for senior appointments throughout the UK. You can concentrate on permanent recruitment or develop a dual desk covering permanent and contract appointments.

The Opportunity

You will recruit white-collar construction professionals across three principal areas:

Site-based management roles, including:

• Site Managers
• Project Managers
• Contracts Managers

Office-based and commercial roles, including:

• Quantity Surveyors
• Estimators
• Planners
• Buyers

Senior management and leadership appointments, including:

• Commercial Managers
• Operations Directors
• Regional Leads

This is an opportunity to inherit an established desk with existing clients and live vacancies while retaining the freedom to develop new relationships and make the division your own.

About You

You will be an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a proven background in the construction recruitment market, ideally covering white-collar permanent or contract appointments.

You should be comfortable recruiting site-based, commercial and senior management professionals while managing established client relationships and identifying opportunities to develop new business.

You will be commercially driven, confident in managing the complete recruitment process and motivated by the opportunity to take ownership of an established desk.

Applications are particularly welcomed from recruiters with experience across Residential Construction, Commercial Construction, Main Contracting or M&E.
