Working Style

Office attendance will be carried in-line with IPO Hybrid working arrangements where staff are currently expected to spend at least 20% of their time working onsite in addition to this increased office attendance will be required to support onsite interviews and escort candidates as part of the recruitment process.

This role is based in our Newport Office.

The IPO holds a visa sponsor licence however; this role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. Candidates will therefore need to have an existing right to work in the UK at the time of application.

Job description

Main duties consist of but are not limited to:

  • Follow relevant policies and procedures whilst adhering to service level agreements
  • Use an applicant tracking system to advertise and manage the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Working with internal stakeholders to advise timescales and to ensure campaigns are run compliantly seeking support where relevant
  • Action queries and provide support to internal and external stakeholders across each aspect of the recruitment and pre-employment checking journey to ensure a smooth process
  • Be proactive in continuous improvement for recruitment processes and procedures
  • Review sift and interview feedback ensuring a fair, consistent and inclusive outcome across the board, highlighting inconsistencies and advising where relevant
  • Use data to advise on reasonable adjustments during the selection process seeking support where relevant
  • Confirm jobs offers and ensure paperwork for new starters is complete and accurate
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment campaigns, producing statistics where required
  • SharePoint management of call recruitment campaigns in line with provided guidance.
