Streamline Bottlenecks: Monitor components moving through cleaning, non-destructive testing (NDT), machining, inspection, and final assembly.
Track Metrics: Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with a focus on reducing Turnaround Time (TAT) and maximizing output.
Manage Materials: Coordinate with stores to ensure parts, repair kits, and consumables are available before production begins.
Team Leadership & Safety
Supervise Technicians: Lead, motivate, challenge and assign tasks to a team of mechanics, inspectors, and support staff.
Enforce Safety: Maintain a strict culture of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and 5S workplace organization standards.
Train Staff: Identify skill gaps, coordinate technical training, and sign off on technician competency matrices.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance
Audit Documentation: Ensure all digital and paper maintenance release tags, teardown reports, and logbooks are flawlessly completed.
Maintain Standards: Ensure all work aligns strictly with current Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and airworthiness directives.
Tool Calibration: Oversee the tracking and calibration of specialized workshop tooling, torque wrenches, and inflation cages.
Support Audits: Assist internal quality teams and external aviation authorities during workshop inspections.

Leadership: At least 1-2 years of experience in a team leader, supervisor, or production planning role.
Regulations: Strong working knowledge of EASA Part 145, FAA Part 145, or local CAA regulatory frameworks.
Methodologies: Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement principles to improve workshop efficiency.
