PPA Cover Teacher

Zest Education is recruiting an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to work across a welcoming primary school in Burton. This is a part‑time role, covering afternoons only, Monday to Friday, and is due to start September for the full academic year.

This position is ideal for a teacher who enjoys variety, thrives on delivering high‑quality lessons across different year groups, and is confident stepping into classrooms to maintain continuity of learning.

About the Role

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will:

• Teach across multiple year groups during afternoon PPA release
• Deliver pre‑planned lessons and maintain strong classroom routines
• Support pupils’ learning, engagement and progress
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and senior leaders
• Contribute to a positive, calm and inclusive school environment
• Adapt your teaching style to suit different classes and age groups

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
