Job Title: Lead Security Service Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Are you a Lead Security Service Engineer based in Birmingham looking for your next opportunity? As a Lead Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the servicing and maintenance of security systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and public sector sites, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards while providing technical guidance to a team of engineers. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and support a team of security service engineers across the North region, providing technical guidance and ensuring consistent service delivery.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive servicing of security systems including intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on a range of security systems, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
* Liaise with clients on-site to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry standards and company procedures, maintaining accurate service records.
* Support the scheduling and coordination of service activities across the region.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 5 years' experience servicing and maintaining security systems including intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV.
* Proven experience in a lead or senior engineer role, with the ability to mentor and support junior engineers.
* Strong working knowledge of systems from manufacturers such as Honeywell, Texecom, Paxton, Hikvision, or similar.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role involves regular travel across the North region.
* SIA licence (desirable).
* NSI or SSAIB installer qualification (desirable).
