The duties for the successful Warehouse Operative:
- Receive, check and put away incoming goods
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare goods for dispatch
- Load and unload deliveries
- Move stock around the warehouse safely
- Keep stock organised and ensure inventory is stored correctly
- Carry out general warehouse duties as required
- Assist with stock checks and maintain accurate records
- Ensure all goods are handled carefully and securely
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Follow company health and safety procedures
- Work as part of a busy and supportive warehouse team
- Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous, but full training can be provided
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Good communication skills
