At Duke of Lancaster School, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will have experience teaching, with the ability to adapt learning to meet a wide range of needs. A strong understanding of SEND, particularly Autism and communication needs, would be highly beneficial. You will deliver engaging, creative lessons that support students’ intellectual, social and emotional development, using flexible and trauma-informed approaches that enable every learner to succeed.
Beyond the classroom, you will contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting enrichment activities, celebrating student achievements and helping to create a positive, nurturing school community.
