Care Home Manager

Radiant Jobs Ltd is recruiting a capable Care Home Manager for a high-quality permanent opportunity in Nottingham. The role sits within Health & Social Care and is aligned to Residential & Nursing Care. This role is suited to a capable professional who can lead safe, person-centred residential or nursing care services. Working within Residential & Nursing Care, you will take ownership of service leadership, staffing, safeguarding, quality, CQC compliance, budgets, family engagement and improvement planning. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical or professional capability with sound judgement, clear communication and a consistently high standard of service. Key Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of service leadership, staffing, safeguarding, quality, CQC compliance, budgets, family engagement and improvement planning.
• Apply sound professional judgement to lead safe, person-centred residential or nursing care services.
• Deliver work accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed deadlines and service standards.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, customers or stakeholders and provide timely updates.
• Maintain complete, accurate and appropriately confidential records and documentation.
• Identify risks, issues or exceptions early and take appropriate action or escalate where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute positively to service quality and operational performance.
• Follow all relevant legislation, professional standards, organisational policies and health & safety requirements.
• Look for practical opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, customer experience or outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge, skills and professional development relevant to the role.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working as a Care Home Manager or in a closely related role.
• Practical experience relevant to Residential & Nursing Care.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional and service-focused approach.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and contribute effectively as part of a team.
• Confidence using the systems, technology and documentation required for the role.
• Ability to work safely within policies, care plans and professional standards.

Qualifications Required

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent desirable.

• Previous experience in a comparable Residential & Nursing Care environment.
• Additional relevant professional training, certification or membership.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and up-to-date sector knowledge.
• Experience improving processes, service standards or team performance.
• A proactive, dependable and solutions-focused approach.
