Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting for confident and experienced Warehouse Operatives for our busy manufacturing client based in Elland, Halifax. These placements are on a temporary basis with potential for a permanent contract to be given after 12 weeks.

Monday to Friday 07:00am – 16:00pm

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Picking items from around a large warehouse
• Carrying out heavy lifting alone and with others
• Moving goods through to dispatch
• Packing and checking picked orders
• Helping to load and unload vehicles to site manually and using forklift
• Other general warehousing duties
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy

The candidate:

• Has proven time spent in a similar warehousing role
• Can successfully commute full time to Elland for 7am starts
• Is looking to commit to a role not only full time but long term
• Has a valid Counterbalance forklift license and experience operating
