Warehouse Operative (Temporary)

Job Overview

BSNI are working with a leading company in Carrickfergus to recruit a dedicated Warehouse Operative. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing materials handling, stock management, and order fulfillment processes within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining safety and quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations while contributing to the seamless flow of goods and materials.

IMMEDIATE START

Temporary role – 2 to 3 weeks

Hours of work –

8:30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday

8:30am – 3:30pm Friday

Pay rate – £12.71phr.

Responsibilities

Handle materials with care, ensuring safe loading, unloading, and movement within the warehouse
Customer service skills, answering calls and handling complaints
Prepare orders by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately for dispatch
Stock shelves systematically, ensuring products are organized for easy access and inventory accuracy
Support stock replenishment activities and maintain clean, organized workspaces
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and improve workflow efficiency
Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar environment
Manual handling experience
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have previous warehouse experience
