The Governors of Great Crosby Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a Year 4 talented, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our committed and professional team.

1 full time Year 4 class teacher (Fixed term contract from 1st November 2026 until 31st August 2027) 

Applications are welcome from experienced and newly qualified teachers.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a practising Catholic teacher or someone who is willing to uphold and contribute to our strong Catholic ethos
  • Hold the Catholic teaching certificate or commit to completing it when in post
  • Be a highly effective classroom teacher who is committed to ensuring all pupils make significant progress whilst in their care
  • Have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour
  • Be passionate about the education of our children and the curriculum we provide
  • Have a clear understanding of the KS1/KS2 curriculum and be able to deliver it in a creative way
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of our dedicated and successful team
