Teaching Assistant

Location: Edgbaston

An inclusive school is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join their SEND provision this September. This Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to support pupils with a range of educational and physical needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Role Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Deliver tailored support during lessons.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Assist with sensory-based activities.
• Support pupils during transitions and breaktimes.
• Work alongside teachers and therapists.
• Help monitor pupil progress.

• SEND knowledge or experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Calm and patient temperament.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Interest in developing as a Teaching Assistant.
