Are you a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant with BSL Level 3 qualification looking to make a meaningful difference in a young person’s educational journey?
We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive specialist educational setting seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support to students with hearing impairments and additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team that is focused on helping every learner reach their full potential.
The Role

Provide classroom-based support to students using British Sign Language (BSL).
Assist learners in accessing lessons and engaging fully in school life.
Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver personalised support.
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning outcomes.
Support students both academically and socially throughout the school day.
Help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

About You

Hold a BSL Level 3 qualification (essential).
Have experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care, or support setting.
Be patient, empathetic, and committed to making a positive impact.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to build strong, professional relationships with students and colleagues.
Have a proactive and flexible approach to supporting learners.
