Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Process Technician to join the team at The Mond Nickel Refinery in Swansea, one of the world's leading nickel refineries, owned and operated by Vale Europe.

• Basic salary of £33,435, rising to £36,221 following competency sign-off.

• Operate and monitor process plant and production equipment.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and product quality.
• Carry out basic maintenance and equipment checks.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
• Operate FLT and other plant machinery where required.
• Respond to operational issues using initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Work collaboratively to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Provide flexibility to cover overtime and call-outs when required.

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, process or industrial environment.
• Experience working with powdered metals is desirable.
• Good understanding of Safe Systems of Work.
• Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining excellent health and safety standards.
• Organised, reliable and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment.
• Experience with 5S or continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
• FLT licence or previous forklift experience is advantageous.
