About the role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Senior Graduation & Awards Coordinator/Administrator to play a key role in delivering an outstanding student experience through the coordination of graduation ceremonies, academic awards and certification processes. -
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys managing complex processes, coordinating large-scale events and working with a wide range of stakeholders. You will contribute to the successful delivery of graduation ceremonies, support the production of academic certificates and transcripts, and help drive continuous improvement across Registry operations.
Due to the nature of the role this is a temporary position.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of graduation ceremonies and associated events.
- Manage communications with students, staff, guests and external suppliers.
- Support graduation logistics, including ticketing, seating arrangements and event administration.
- Oversee processes relating to academic certificates, transcripts and awards documentation.
- Respond to enquiries and provide expert guidance on awards and ceremonies matters.
- Produce reports and analyse data to support decision-making and service improvements.
- Work collaboratively across teams to enhance processes and improve the student experience.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant policies, regulations and data protection requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in administration, events coordination or a customer-focused environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confidence working with digital systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Desirable
- Experience within a higher education or academic administration setting.
- Knowledge of student records, awards, certification or graduation processes.
- The role requires flexibility during peak graduation periods
