B + E Van Driver

We are looking for a driver will a B + E licence and experience of towing a trailer. This is for ad-hoc work but we have other van driving roles for people looking for additional work. There will be some lifting on occasion and you will need good literacy and numeracy skills for delivery paperwork. Some use of a handheld delivery pod may be used. Monday to Friday start 06.30- 07.00 Duties

• Safely operate a van and trailer to deliver goods to various locations.
• Load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding schedules and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Requirements

• Valid driving licence (class B+E) with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
