Location: Wellingborough
We’re looking for a proactive HR Administrator to join a busy and collaborative HR team. This hands-on role provides broad exposure across the employee lifecycle, working closely with HR, Operations and Payroll to deliver an efficient and effective HR service.
It’s a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys variety and wants to develop their HR career.
About the role
You’ll support the employee lifecycle from joining through to leaving, including:
- Managing joiner, mover and leaver administration, including contracts, onboarding, system updates and pre-employment checks.
- Processing promotions, salary changes, transfers, restructures and changes to working hours.
- Acting as a key link between HR and Payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payroll submissions and supporting payroll queries and amendments.
- Maintaining accurate HR systems and employee data, completing audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Supporting HR reporting, including management information and Board reporting.
- Acting as a first point of contact for managers on day-to-day HR queries, triaging issues and coordinating with the wider HR team.
- Managing HR requests through to timely resolution and ensuring a consistent, high-quality service.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and confident working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll enjoy working with people and data in equal measure and will be comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in an HR administration or HR operations role.
- Good knowledge of the employee lifecycle and associated HR processes.
- Experience working with HR systems and maintaining accurate employee data.
- An understanding of payroll processes and the importance of payroll deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to administration.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to deal directly with managers and colleagues and provide a professional, solutions-focused service.
- The ability to prioritise effectively and work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Good Excel and general IT skills.
What’s in it for you?
This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative HR function where you’ll have the chance to broaden your HR experience, work across the full employee lifecycle and make a genuine contribution to the employee experience.
You’ll be joining a team that values accuracy, partnership and getting things done, with plenty of opportunity to develop your knowledge and take on new challenges as the business continues to evolve.
If you’re an ambitious HR Administrator looking for a varied role where you can make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
