About the Role

TSM Technical is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer and service provider of automatic pedestrian door systems and aluminium shopfronts.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Automatic Door Service Engineer to join their expanding engineering team covering Scotland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, working across service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of automatic door systems. You’ll receive full product training and ongoing support to develop your skills while working for a business that genuinely invests in its people.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out service, maintenance and repairs on automatic door systems
• Responding to reactive call-outs, scheduled services and planned maintenance
• Occasionally assisting with installation projects when required
• Liaising daily with the office regarding scheduling
• Completing electronic paperwork and customer portals
• Delivering excellent customer service while working independently or as part of a team

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience servicing and maintaining automatic doors
✅ BS7036 / EN16005 certification (essential)
✅ Full UK driving licence
✅ Strong organisational and communication skills
✅ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
✅ Flexible, enthusiastic and team-oriented approach
✅ Willingness to undergo a disclosure/DBS check

Pay & Hours

• Up to £20.00 per hour, depending on experience
• 40-hour working week
• Door-to-door travel paid
• 1 in 10 days on-call rota 
• £26 standby payment for each weekday on-call period
• £70 standby payment for each weekend on-call period
• Call-out hours paid at 1.5x standard rate
• Overtime at 1.5x Monday–Friday
• 1.5x pay for all hours worked at weekends
• Monthly efficiency bonus based on team performance
