Pay: £100–£120 per day (dependent on experience)

Early Years Practitioner

Milk Education are working with a nurturing primary school in Croydon who are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their Reception team from September.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who enjoys creating engaging, play-based learning experiences and supporting children’s development across all areas of the EYFS.

The Role

• Support the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities.
• Work alongside the class teacher to provide a stimulating learning environment.
• Support children’s communication, language and social development.
• Encourage independence through classroom routines and activities.
• Observe children’s learning and contribute to assessment.
• Support phonics, early reading and early Maths activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and strong relationships.

About You

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable.
• Previous experience within an EYFS or nursery setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Creative, patient and nurturing approach.
• Confident working with young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
