About the role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying scientific principles, particularly those of higher mathematics and physical and engineering science. Experience applying electrical engineering concepts and terminology. Experience in the area of reactor controls and instrumentation engineering and related components in nuclear power plants for submarines or similar. Experience applying operational knowledge of electrical instrumentation and control requirements and systems. Experience applying basic nuclear physics to radiation and radiological controls, general design and operational theory of fluid systems equipment, nuclear plant safety, overall reactor theory and casualty procedures. Experience mentoring and leading personnel in the realm of engineering.
