Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning, developing and managing crane or rigging production projects for the repair, overhaul or modification of industrial ships. Experience in Shipyard work operations, trades, and shop practices. Experience developing maintenance requirements, schedules, and budgets. Experience in deck plate Rigging and or Crane Operations. Experience utilizing knowledge of all phases of lifting and handling operations, work practices and procedures, and Navy Standards and Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) design. Experience utilizing knowledge of waterfront rigging and crane operations, maintenance, engineering methods, processes and procedures as relates to lifting and weight handling. Experience managing various levels of shop supervisors and trades people including training requirements, funding, and manpower allocation and constraints. Experience analyzing problems and evaluating requirements, new methods, equipment, and work practices to meet organizational objectives.
