Van Driver Bideford

We are looking for van drivers. For a 1 week assignment in the Bideford area. There will be some lifting required so physical fitness is a must. Start times approx 7am Monday to Friday Duties

• Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations.
• Load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding schedules and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Requirements

• Valid driving licence (class B) with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
