Location: Bournemouth
Experience: 4+ PQE
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Full Remuneration Package: £60,000+ DOE

A well-established and progressive law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join its dedicated Land Law team in Bournemouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a highly experienced team, managing a full caseload with a high degree of autonomy while benefiting from strong support and genuine career progression.

The Role

You will manage your own residential property caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of client care.

Your work will include:

  • Freehold and leasehold residential transactions
  • Sales and purchases
  • Residential property and land matters
  • Managing transactions from instruction through to completion and post-completion
  • Dealing with clients, estate agents and other professional contacts
  • Ensuring files and case management systems are maintained accurately

You will also be expected to:

  • Work towards billing, time recording and fee targets
  • Maintain strong and lasting client relationships
  • Provide clear, practical advice throughout transactions
  • Support and guide junior lawyers and support staff where appropriate
  • Contribute to business development, networking and marketing activity
  • Identify opportunities to develop new and existing client relationships
  • Play an active role in the continued growth of the team

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4+ PQE
  • Experienced in managing a full residential property caseload with minimal supervision
  • Technically strong across Residential Property and Land Law
  • Comfortable working towards billing and performance targets
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A strong communicator with a client-focused approach
  • Confident working independently while contributing positively to a wider team
  • Commercially aware and proactive in developing client relationships

Experience of mentoring or providing guidance to junior lawyers and support staff would be advantageous, as would previous business development or networking experience.
