Data / Digital Lawyer – Associate NQ – 2 PQE, Edinburgh

We're looking for a Junior Associate to join our nationally recognised Data & Digital team in Edinburgh, working closely with Helena Brown, Head of Data, and colleagues across our UK offices.

• Join a market-leading Data & Digital practice with an impressive client base.
• Advise on a broad range of data, technology and commercial matters.
• Support clients on GDPR compliance, international data transfers, PECR, AI governance and cyber regulation
• Work on major incident response matters and complex multi-jurisdictional projects
  
• Draft and negotiate commercial, technology, SaaS and outsourcing agreements
  
• Collaborate with colleagues across commercial, disputes, employment and legal tech teams
  
• Contribute to business development, thought leadership and client initiatives

We're keen to hear from lawyers who have:

• Some experience in commercial contracts, technology, data protection or broader commercial law
• A genuine interest in data, digital and emerging technologies
• Strong commercial awareness and a practical, solution-focused approach
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• A desire to develop their career within a collaborative, ambitious and growing team
