About the role
Consultant - General Surgery
Locum Consultant in General Surgery required at Antrim Area Hospital (Northern Health and Social Care Trust). This is a daytime locum position starting 7 August 2026, running until 7 November 2026.
The successful candidate will provide consultant-level cover in General Surgery, managing acute surgical admissions, outpatient clinics, and theatre lists as required. You will work as part of the existing surgical team and be expected to operate independently at consultant level.
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- Consultant-level experience in General Surgery
- Evidence of recent appraisal and revalidation

- Right to work in the UK
