We’re working with an ambitious and growing professional services business to appoint a commercially minded Finance Business Partner.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be much more than the person producing the numbers.

Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll provide the insight, challenge and commercial thinking that helps shape better decisions and stronger performance.

The opportunity

You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

You’ll provide insight into profitability and performance, support pricing and investment decisions, and oversee management accounts, statutory reporting, audit and financial controls.

There’s also scope to improve how finance works across the business, from processes and controls through to how leaders use financial information to make decisions.

You’ll have visibility. You’ll have a voice. And your work will directly influence the direction of the business.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with strong post qualification experience and a genuine commercial mindset.

You’ll bring:

• Strong business partnering and senior stakeholder experience
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel capability
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, audit and financial controls
• Professional services experience, ideally including WIP, billing and revenue recognition

You’ll be confident challenging constructively, comfortable presenting to senior leaders and able to turn financial information into clear commercial action.
